Zombie Apocalypse Scholarship – Up to $2,000

Submit an online written response to the question: “Imagine that your high school or college has been overrun with zombies. Your math professor, the cafeteria ladies, and even your best friend have all joined the walking dead. Flesh out a plan to avoid the zombies, including where you’d hide and the top-five things you’d bring to stay alive.”
For the one who values safety
American Fire Sprinkler Association’s Scholarship Program – Up to $2,000
Deadline – April 1, 2018
Read an essay on fire sprinklers and complete an open-book multiple choice quiz to be placed in a drawing for the scholarship.
For the aspiring advertising executive
Courageous Persuaders Scholarship – Up to $3,000
Deadline – TBD
Create a 30 second TV commercial about the dangers of underage drinking or texting while driving.
For the aspiring architect, interior designer or construction manager
Houzz Scholarship Program – Up to $2,500
Deadlines – June 30th and December 15th
Four design scholarships are available: Women in Architecture, Residential Design, Sustainable Residential Design, and Residential Construction Management.
For the creative young woman
Beyoncé Formation Scholars – Up to $25,000

Young women attending Berklee, Parsons, Howard or Spelman who are pursuing studies in creative arts, music, literature or African-American Studies can apply.
