Brian Thorkelson

Brian Thorkelson is the Chief Market Strategist at Prosperity. He is responsible for leading the firm’s investment strategies, due diligence processes, and serves as the Chair of the Investment Committee. He leads a team of highly skilled investment professionals, and ensures our policies are aligned with client portfolios.

In addition to his leadership role, Brian interacts with clients providing investment guidance and insights to help them achieve their financial objectives.  With over three decades of experience, he has held senior positions as a bond trader, equity analyst, and mutual fund portfolio manager. Brian’s background also includes navigating the investment complexities that come with wealth transfer planning and trust account administration.

Prior to his current role, he was the Chief Investment Officer for Lurie Wealth Advisors, LLC where he applied his experience in working with equities, fixed income, and alternative asset classes to develop comprehensive investment strategies for his clients.
