Brian Thorkelson

An accomplished, forward-thinking investment management professional, Brian’s extensive experience working with equities, fixed income, and alternative asset classes through many market cycles drives his wealth management recommendations for each of his clients. Committed to developing strong, positive working relationships, he focuses on developing customized, comprehensive investment solutions.

Brian’s extensive experience in portfolio management, investment market strategy, manager selection and due diligence, asset allocation development, investment product marketing and investment technology development and deployment support his goals of helping our clients grow and protect their wealth.

He earned his BA in Computer Science at Gustavus Adolphus College in 1985. He is a member of the CFA^® Institute and the CFA^® Society of Minnesota. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations.

Brian lives with his wife, Virginia, in Maple Grove, MN. They have two grown children.
